Brisbane’s best bathroom renovations and new bathrooms
Below is a list of answers to the most commonly asked questions we have encountered over the years.
Aquatic Bathrooms Director, Kim Marcus, has been a registered builder since 1978 and has specialised in bathrooms for over 20 years.
Aquatic Bathrooms provides a full building service, including bathroom extensions, bathroom renovations and new bathrooms.
A standard bathroom renovation is generally completed within 8 days. A standard shower screen takes approximately five working days from the date of order; a semi-frameless screen takes approximately eight working days; and a frameless screen takes approximately 12 days. The bathroom can still be used during this time.
All our workmanship is guaranteed under a 6.5 year warranty with the BSA. Manufactures’ warranties apply to all fixtures – vanities are usually guaranteed for 1 year and mixers, 5 years or longer. Our shower screens have a 7.5 year warranty. We also have a long-established relationship with Flexitray QLD – experts in waterproofing.
Yes. We know how annoying mess is. That’s why we take care of rubbish, both during the job and after completion. We provide a skip for rubbish removal, your floors are covered with plastic and your home is left clean as possible at the end of each working day.
You will not be able to use the bathroom until the fixtures are installed. This is usually seven working days, depending on the extent of work. It is alright to use the bathroom before the shower screen is installed, so you shouldn’t be without your bathroom for more than seven days.
We offer a design consultation process where we listen to your ideas and make practical suggestions. Our goal is to gain a clear understanding of what you want and then create it for you.
Yes you can. We have a preferred supplier for fixtures and fittings (Geisha Ceramics) and we are more than happy for you to visit them directly to make your choice. While Geisha Ceramics are our preferred supplier, fixtures are 100% your decision and you can supply anything that you want if you can’t find what you’re looking for or have something specific in mind. You also have a choice of shower screens from our preferred suppliers.
Yes you can. Changing the layout is not as straightforward as a standard renovation, so additional charges will be incurred on a concrete slab constructed home. On a home with timber floors and easy access underneath, the additional cost is minimal.
We require a 10% deposit before the start of the job, a progress payment when walls are sheeted and a progress payment when fittings are installed. The balance when the shower screen and mirror is installed.
Our Difference
